Nancy’s Annual Bon Voyage

[Today, 8 days before departure, Joey yields to Nancy.]

SPECIAL EDITION!!

I try not to go too crazy while Jeffrey and Joey are away.

But I worry.

Of course we know that a Kangaroo Court Puppet 🦘 and its cyclist chauffeur gotta do what they gotta do: go out into the world and spread the spirit of the Emma Lazarus poem.

“Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Let’s support Jeffrey and Joey on their wrap-up Ride for Human Rights.

Follow their blog and write encouraging comments.

Bon Voyage, cyclists!

Come home safe.

If you like my drawings, I post two every Monday at https://substack.com/@artbynancy .

  1. I wish Jeffrey and Joey a great and above all safe tour. I hope Nancy doesn’t worry too much about them in the next few weeks.

I think it becomes more important every year to draw attention to the refugee problem. More and more people are forced to leave their homes or are deliberately displaced. At the same time, the willingness in many rich countries to help these people and grant them asylum if necessary is decreasing.

Many thanks to you for not getting tired of drawing attention to these issues.
